EmpowHer Advocacy

A twelve-week virtual program for disabled women and nonbinary advocates to improve their advocacy public speaking and confidence to fight for the Disability Community.

 

The program features weekly 60-minute virtual group classes along with regular assignments. Participants receive weekly mentorship 1-on-1 from successful disabled women advocates. If selected, participants commit to joining our virtual classes on Wednesday afternoons starting January 13, 2027.

Applications Close October 21st at 9am ET. 

Eligibility

Participants must:

  • Be 18 years old or older

  • Be a disabled woman or gender diverse individual comfortable in a feminine-aligned space

  • Be a citizen of or live in the United States

  • Have advocacy goals which become achievable through our program

  • Be willing to fundraise or pay $275 registration fee to demonstrate their commitment to the program

  • Be able to commit to 90 minutes of meetings each week for 12 weeks in the winter of 2027.
