What do you like to do in your free time? Playing video games and streaming on Twitch, baking, spending time with my cat, hanging out with friends, making music.
Why are you excited to be a part of EmpowHer Camp? EmpowHer Camp is my favorite thing I do. There's nothing better than spending a week with a bunch of incredible disabled women, girls, and fem-aligned nonbinary folks participating in community care while learning and growing together.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy going new places, baking, watching movies, learning new things (like the complete nerd I am), and working on various passion projects.
Why are you excited to be a part of EmpowHer Camp? I’m super excited to participate in camp this year because of the people. Having such a vibrant community to share experiences with, build connections from, and learn from is really amazing and a one-of-a-kind experience.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, learning languages (particularly Korean), spending time with my cats, having long conversations with friends and family, and exploring topics related to psychology and neuroscience. I also enjoy being outdoors, taking walks or wheelchair outings, and finding quiet places to think and reflect. I love meaningful discussion, storytelling, and helping people make sense of their experiences. Much of my free time is spent building community, connecting with people, and pursuing curiosity about how the brain, behaviour, and relationships work.
Why are you excited to be a part of EmpowHer Camp? I am excited to be a mentor with the EmpowerHer Network Camp because I know how powerful it can be to meet disabled women who are living the kinds of lives you want for yourself. Growing up, I often received messages that independence meant doing everything alone, and it took me many years to learn that true independence also includes knowing when to ask for help, build community, and advocate for your needs.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my spare time, I like to spend time with the people who matter most - my family & friends. I like to play video games, read books, laugh, and spend time outside.
Why are you excited to be a part of EmpowHer Camp? I am excited to help young leaders discover the power of vulnerability & interdependence. I enjoy spending time in the supportive community that is EmpowHer Camp.

What do you like to do in your free time? I like to hang out with my friends and family, play Roblox with my friends, and read or write stories.
Why are you excited to be a part of EmpowHer camp? I am excited for camp because it's like my safe space at camp. I feel like I can trust everyone around and no one will judge me. We're all like one big family, working together as a team to make a difference in the world!

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I enjoy painting, browsing the record store, and playing cozy games.
Why are you excited to be a mentor? I believe mentorship is a beautiful opportunity to help empower others and to learn from other’s experiences.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy reading, spoken word, video games, and watch romance and thriller movies. I love Pac Man and Mario Kart.
Why are you excited to be a mentor? Mentorship is a powerful tool for building sustainable success and a true sense of belonging. I am thrilled to serve as a mentor and guide the next generation of leaders as they map out their personal and professional goals. I’m especially excited to help them develop the confidence to advocate for themselves, dismantle systemic hurdles, and turn their unique visions into actionable plans.

Why are you excited to be a mentor? I love disabled people and being in disability spaces, and I'm excited to both hang out with a really rad group of disabled folks, and also to help support someone's individual journey.

What do you like to do in your free time? I paint, create, spend time with my community. I like to sew silly things, watch sports, and I enjoy bright, eclectic fashion. I also spend a lot of enjoyable time hanging out with my cat, Toffee. I enjoy trying new local coffee shops whenever I have free time and I listen to hyperpop music every day. My favorite constant rewatch tv show is 911.
Why are you excited to be a mentor? I had a great experience mentoring this last year. I learned a lot from my mentee and gained experiences that were invaluable. I am excited to be able to guide another young person through the journey of self-advocacy and confidence building. Being able to share my story to assist someone who is going through similar things as I did as a disabled youth is so important to me. We are able to grow together as a community, and I'm grateful to have a part in that.

What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy reading, playing video games with my friends, and volunteering at my local animal shelter.
Why are you excited to be a mentor? I'm excited to be a mentor because I always meet the most excellent people at EmpowHer Camp! I can't wait to connect with the young leaders and spend time growing and learning together with my mentee!

What do you like to do in your free time? Between running EmpowHer and taking care of my many children, I don't really have a lot of free time. I love jam, balancing things on my head, girl scout cookies, audiobooks, singing loudly and off-key in public, and spending time at the Rochester Public Market.
Why are you excited to be a mentor? I’ve never actually been a mentor before, so I am absolutely pumped to finally step into this role for a program that I first envisioned a katrillion years ago! Seeing this dream fully come to life and getting to mentor our incredible young leaders is a full-circle moment I wouldn't miss for the world.

Why are you excited to be a part of EmpowHer Camp? I am excited to be a Mentor because I love supporting others as they grow, take the lead, and achieve their goals! Peer Mentorship I received from women with disabilities and people of gender minorities with disabilities was pivotal for me growing up, and I understand its power. I hope to be a support to others in a way that works best for them.
