EmpowHer Capital
EmpowHer Capital will host meetups where disabled women and feminine aligned nonbinary people can connect, set and pursue goals, and build their capacity as leaders. This program aim to uplift and empower women with disabilities in the Capital Region, encouraging them to advocate for their own rights, explore new opportunities in their personal and professional lives, and become leaders in their community. This group provides a community that addresses the unique barriers that disabled women face as people with multiple marginalized identities. It is for women with disabilities ages 18+.

What are the events like?
EmpowHer Capital provides monthly opportunities for women and feminine aligned nonbinary people with disabilities (ages 18+) in the New York’s Capital Region to meet every month for a fun, skill building, and empowering event while connecting with peers and mentors. Filling an EmpowHERing weekend afternoon with laughter, growth, and food! ​
