Empowered Futures
Our Empowered Futures program offers pre-employment transition services (also known as Pre-ETS) to support students with disabilities (ages 14-22) in preparing for a successful future career.
We offer various career preparation services that align with your strengths, interests, and goals including exploring jobs, getting guidance on what to do after high school (such as entering the workforce or applying to college), training on self-advocacy skills, and even assistance in finding hands-on opportunities to learn and get experience in career fields that interest you.

Empowered Futures does not replace your school's transition planning and educational services, it serves as a complement to school supports. Our goal is to address the unique challenges that disabled students face when preparing for employment, exploring post-secondary options, and developing essential soft skills, thereby improving job readiness and future success.
We currently only offer Empowered Futures opportunities to students in Monroe County, New York and surrounding areas.
Upcoming Opportunities
Empowered Futures offers exciting opportunities for youth with disabilities to explore their passions, build career skills, and make meaningful connections—whether it’s through fun and interactive summer sessions, the dynamic Employment Summit, or personalized one-on-one and small group coaching that’s tailored to their goals. From hands-on learning to real-world experiences, these programs help young people discover their potential and plan for bright futures!
