What do you like to do in your free time? Playing video games and streaming on Twitch, baking, spending time with my cat, hanging out with friends, making music.

Why are you excited to be a mentor? Being a mentor at EmpowHer Camp is my favorite thing that I do. I love building community and practicing interdependence with the incredible people that are part of our Network!

What do you like to do in your free time? In my spare time, I like to spend time with the people who matter most - my family & friends. I like to play video games, read books, laugh, and spend time outside.

Why are you excited to be a mentor? I am excited to help young leaders discover the power of vulnerability & interdependence. I enjoy spending time in the supportive community that is EmpowHer Camp.

She believes passionately in supporting younger disabled individuals, aiming to provide the understanding and community she lacked. She thinks the world needs a lot more disabled advocates, and she is honored and extremely happy to be part of helping the next generation of voices rise up!

What do you like to do in your free time? I love to write and try new coffee shops.

Why are you excited to be a mentor? I was a mentor back in 2024, and it was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life. I learned so much from my mentee, and it is truly amazing to be a role model to a young disabled person and witness their journey in defining themselves in a world that defines disability as strictly negative.

What do you like to do in your free time? Cuddle with my cat Holly, have a bite to eat with friends, and see musicals and plays.

Why are you excited to be a mentor? I am so excited to be a mentor because I'll be able to help our young leaders grow like my mentors have helped me. And I'll meet more amazing disabled women!

Why are you excited to be a part of EmpowHer Camp? I am involved with Disability EmpowHer Camp in order to support the next generation of disabled women and non-binary folks who will help shape the world into a better place.

What do you like to do in your free time? When not hanging out at the social work building, I like to plan social events, party, and do theatre.

Why are you excited to be a part of EmpowHer Camp? I am excited to be an ally because it's like a big fun party every time and we all get to do important work. It's also fun because nothing is exactly the same each day.

Why are you excited to be a mentor? To grow personally and be part of a young person's journey of self-discovery and growth.

What do you like to do in your free time? Paint, collage, teach art, listen to people's stories, talk about my interests with people with similar interests, watch tv(the show 9-1-1), read cheesy queer romance novels because everyone deserves a silly story with a happy ending, spending time with my cat, taking notes and watching educational videos.

Why are you excited to be a mentor? I'm excited to be a mentor because it will be the first time I'm in this type of role, and I'm trusting myself to succeed which is a big step for me. I'm excited to meet my mentee and learn from them as we grow together as leaders and people. I'm looking forward to hearing their ideas about the community project and working to support them. I'm looking forward to spending time with people who understand me and being able to share my journey with others, and becoming successful as a mentor and supporter to whoever I am paired with.

What do you like to do in your free time? In my free time, I like to hang out with my dogs and read all sorts of books. I also like to loom weave, sew, and garden.

Why are you excited to be a mentor? As a graduate of the very first EmpowHer Camp class, I saw firsthand how much work and enthusiasm went into making this program a career launchpad for so many young leaders. I am excited to come back and support a whole new class of leaders!

What do you like to do in your free time? Bake especially for other people, go on hikes and/or play with my dogs, read, try my hand at different arts like linocut printing, sing my favorite musical numbers while dancing with my dog in the kitchen

Why are you excited to be a a part of EmpowHer Camp? I'm excited to connect with more incredible people at camp. To watch them grow and to grow myself. I'm excited to see more people find the confidence and build the skills to be incredible leaders.
