By collaborating with the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, we're amplifying the voices of women and girls with paralysis through blogging! 
 

EmpowHer Stories is open to girls and women with paralysis who have a story to tell and want help developing their story. We help women hone in on their ideas and refine their writing. Every month we select an individual to work with our editor to develop their blog ideas into fully written pieces. Our editor is a proud disabled woman who can provide peer support and advice throughout the writing and editing process.

All completed blogs must be:

• original content and never been published anywhere before

• approximately 600 words

• on topics related to women with disabilities and their lived experiences

• include at least one picture from the author

​

Once the blog is finished, the piece is sent to the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation to be published on their website. Upon publication, the blogger receives a $100 stipend.
